Pre-planning consultation – Proposal to enlarge Four Marks Church of England Primary School
Closed on
Purpose
The County Council wish to consult with you ahead of its proposal to submit a planning application to permanently enlarge the premises of Four Marks Church of England Primary School. We would therefore like to invite you to a drop in session on 19 June 2018 at Four Marks Church of England Primary School between 3pm and 6pm when officers will be available to discuss the Council’s plans for additional buildings on the school site.
Description
This consultation will run from 11 June to 9 July 2018.
The proposed expansion would allow the capacity of Four Marks Church of England Primary School to be increased in order to offer up to 60 places in Year R (age 4+) from September 2020. This will allow Four Marks Church of England Primary School to cater for 420 pupils across 7 year groups.
A statutory consultation process on the principle of the school expansion concluded on 6 November 2017 which was then followed by a Public Notice which was issued on 5 January 2018 for 4 weeks. The Director of Children’s Services subsequently approved, subject to planning permission, the expansion of the school in February 2018. This expansion would enable Four Marks Church of England Primary School to increase its numbers from 315 to 420.
