Pre-planning Consultation – Fryern Junior School

Purpose

The County Council would like to consult with you ahead of its proposal to submit a planning application to create new permanent facilities at the premises of Fryern Junior School. We would therefore like to invite you to a drop-in session on 3 July 2019 at Fryern Junior School between 3pm and 6pm, when officers will be available to discuss the Council’s plans for building on the school site.

This consultation will run from the 21 June to 26 July 2019.

This consultation will run from the 21 June to 26 July 2019. The proposed work at Fryern Junior School includes the construction of a new school building. The proposed building will be a rebuild of the Junior school to provide modern facilities. The old building will be demolished. This proposal will not result in an increase in pupil numbers. It is intended that the facilities will be completed and available for use by the school by September 2021.
