The County Council wish to consult with you ahead of its proposal to submit a planning application to change the use of Hayter House, Romsey into a Registered Children’s Home

This consultation will take place between Thursday 17 March and Thursday 14 April 2022.

Proposal to Convert Hayter House

The proposal is to create 3 self-contained flats for young people to live in Hayter House where they will be supported by staff who will be based on the premises at all times, including at night. In addition, there will be shared kitchen and dining facilities, staff offices and a staff bedroom. This conversion will also include a secure garden area with controlled access and dedicated parking for up to 5 parking spaces.
