The school will also provide places for 8 pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
Description
This consultation will run from 26 September 2022 to 24 October 2022.
The proposed new primary school is planned to open in September 2025 and would admit up to 30 places for Year R (age 4+), subsequently growing to 420 pupils across seven year groups.
The provision of a new 2FE primary school will cater for the expected pupil demand from the new housing being built at Hounsome Fields and the Golf Course site. Overall, this will total approximately 1700 dwellings on the developments which both now have planning permission and construction is well underway on both sites.
