Help shape Hampshire’s new Local Transport Plan
Consultation open until
Hampshire County Council has opened a public consultation on a draft Local Transport Plan (LTP4) which, if adopted, would affect how people travel in Hampshire in the future
It proposes transformational changes which:
- shift away from planning for vehicles, towards planning for people and places
- reduce reliance on private car travel
- support sustainable economic development and regeneration
- meet national priorities to decarbonise the transport system
- promote active lifestyles
The 12-week consultation runs until 26 June 2022 and seeks views on the proposed approach, the impacts that may arise as a result of this and any alternative options that should also be included.
