Purpose

Hampshire County Council, in partnership with University of Winchester Academy Trust and the Department for Education, wish to consult with you ahead of the proposal to submit a planning application for a new primary school on a new housing development at North Stoneham Park, Eastleigh. University of Winchester Academy Trust has been approved by the Department of Education as the sponsor for the proposed new primary school.

Description

This consultation will run from 25 May 2018 to 22 June 2018.

The proposed new primary school is planned to open in September 2020 and would admit up to 45 places for Year R (age 4+), subsequently growing to 315 pupils across seven year groups.

The provision of a new 1.5FE Primary School forms part of the North Stoneham Park development (1100 new homes) which was granted outline planning permission in January 2016.
