Consultation on proposed changes to the Adult Services Paying for Care Policy

Closed on

Hampshire County Council is asking for the views of people who use adult social care services, residents and stakeholders on a number of proposed changes to the way it charges for adult social care services.

The amount of money available to fund Adult Services is reducing, but demand for care and support services is rising – so the County Council needs to ensure money is used as effectively as possible. This consultation asks for views on some proposed changes which, if they were agreed following the consultation, may affect the amount that some people contribute towards the cost of their care.

The analysis of the responses from the consultation will be published and presented to the Executive Member for Adult Social Care, for a decision in October 2016.
