Pre-planning Consultation – Robert May’s School – Bufton Field

Closed on

Purpose

The County Council would like to consult with you ahead of its proposal to submit a planning application to create new permanent facilities at the premises of Robert May’s School. We would therefore like to invite you to a drop-in session on 5 February 2020 at Robert May’s School between 3pm and 6pm, when officers will be available to discuss the Council’s plans for the school site.

Description

This consultation will run from the 24 January to 6 March 2020. The proposed work at Robert May’s School includes the incorporation of approximately 2.8 hectare (6.9 acres) of land by joining Bufton Field to the school playing fields. The proposed alterations to the land will create a 115 x 64m playing surface to allow for either full sized rugby or football pitch markings and a 70 x 50m second pitch area to allow for 7 v 7 football pitch markings.

This proposal will not result in an increase in pupil numbers.
