The Hundred / Market Place & Portersbridge Street, Romsey: feedback survey on proposals

Closed on

Hampshire County Council is asking local people in Romsey for their views on proposed plans for the enhancement of the temporary closure of The Hundred and a temporary change to Portersbridge Street to make it one way, so traffic can only travel between Latimer Street to Church Street

Background and context

Hampshire County Council is committed to creating better spaces for people in our town centres and has secured £3.28 million from a successful bid to the Government’s Active Travel Fund. This funding is to be used to create better spaces for people walking and cycling in and around our towns across Hampshire to enable social distancing for safe, essential journeys and support physical activity and exercise during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic - and as we work towards a period of recovery.

The consultation is open from Monday 15 February and closes at midnight on Sunday 14 March 2021.

Note that responses received after this time will not be included in the findings report.
