Pre planning consultation: proposal to enlarge Romsey Primary School

Closed on

The County Council is proposing to submit a planning application to enlarge Romsey Primary School

Drop-in session

We would like to invite parents and other interested parties to a drop-in session on Monday 17 October at the Romsey Primary School between 3pm and 6pm, to view the scheme plans.

The consultation will run from Monday 10 October to Friday 11 November. The proposed enlargement would allow the capacity of the school to be increased to allow up to 60 places in Year R (age 4+) from September 2018. This will eventually allow the school to cater for a total of 420 pupils across their seven year groups.

A statutory consultation process on the principle of school expansion concluded on Friday 15 July. The Director of Children’s Services subsequently approved, subject to planning permission, the expansion of the school on Thursday 21 July.
