The County Supplies contract for MFDs (Multi-Functional Devices) and Document Solutions is designed specifically for the public sector, schools and academies.
The contract offers the option to rent (operating lease) or purchase machines and a cost per copy charge covers all toner, servicing, parts, staples and preventative maintenance. In addition, County Supplies offers support through the ordering process and throughout the life of your machine, there are no hidden costs and the Terms and Conditions of the Contract are designed to protect you.
Benefits of the contract
Pricing - On a like-for-like contract term, the County Supplies contract offers very competitive pricing.
No minimum billing - If you use one copy/print, you only pay for one copy/print.
Cost per copy - The cost per copy includes toner, staples, service, labour, parts, and preventative maintenance. The cost per copy will not increase during the life of the contract.
Rental charges - The rental charges are paid quarterly and in advance. The rental will not increase during the life of the primary contract.
Other charges - Under the County Supplies contract there are no charges for the administration, delivery or collection of your machines.
Outright purchase - You will make a one-off payment and take ownership of the machine.
Contract periods - County Supplies offers rental options from 3 to 5 years.
Charges for A3 - Charges do not vary with the page size.
Toner and staples - Consumables are included in the cost per copy and delivered free of charge.
Insurance - Rented/leased machines are insured by the Supplier against loss or damage (excluding deliberate or negligent acts).
Maintenance and servicing - All suppliers are required to meet an SLA for their response to service calls and these are constantly monitored by County Supplies.
What the framework covers
Lot 1 - Multi-Functional Devices and Digital Solutions
Lot 1 covers the provision of multi-functional devices and digital solutions, to include both A4 and A4/A3 networked and standalone multi-functional devices, printers, high volume print room devices and wide format printers, all with the option of CPC maintenance. Equipment can be procured as a direct purchase or via an operating lease agreement.
Digital Solutions requirements can include a range of equipment, software, and services (including on-going maintenance, support, and managed print) to help control, manage and measure the effectiveness of the print environment. This can include device management, departmental chargeback, confidential printing, rules-based printing, print job accounting, job routing based on the most efficient use of devices.
