During the COVID-19 pandemic, Warehouse Supervisor Mark Andrews helped to set up and run the Local Resilience Forum (LRF) warehouse at Segensworth.
At the peak of the pandemic, County Supplies held 555,000 face masks for the LRF which were distributed to schools, care homes and other high priority customers.
Mark and colleagues at the LRF put together an emergency PPE kit comprising face masks, gloves, aprons and goggles which was subsequently added to County Supplies stock. This helped meet the high demand for PPE during the crisis. 500 of these kits were distributed to schools.
