Private hire for Hampshire Council Staff

Hampshire County Council employees can hire cars (manual or automatic), estates, people carriers, vans, 4x4s and minibuses for personal use. They can be booked for a day or more and collected directly from the hire company.

To make a booking, please complete our online form. Make sure to select the 'Private hire' button.

We will need the following information:

• your contact name, address, and phone number for billing purposes
• the type of vehicle you need
• the pickup location
• the start and end dates of the booking

Payment can be made either online or over the phone and should be paid for at least 48 hours before the hire begins. Please don’t pay the hire company directly.
