Hampshire County Council invites applications from suitably experienced organisations who wish to be considered for selection to tender for the supply of Older Persons Day Activities Services.
These services offer sessional support for older people with cognitive impairments (including dementia). These services also aim to support unpaid carers of older people by providing the opportunity of a respite break. Services will be provided from a community based venue although part of service delivery will include outreach and outings for people according to the needs of individuals and their identified personal outcomes.
This procurement for Older Persons Day Activities Services has been established under the Light Touch Regime and takes into account the specific needs of different categories of users, including disadvantaged and vulnerable groups in any awards (by way of mini competition and or direct awards).
Suppliers should note that the Older Persons Day Activities Services Stage 1 General Guidance, describes the process and offers general guidance on the completion of applications to join Older Persons Day Activities Services Stage 1 as described in the Overarching Agreement for Older Persons Day Activities Services. Other information is laid out in the accompanying Instructions for Completion and other documentation available.
The Older Persons Day Activities Services Stage 1 commenced on 8th September 2016 and is open for an initial period of 3 years with the possibilities to extend for a maximum of 6 years on a 3 + 3 basis.
Suppliers wishing to join the Older Persons Day Activities Services Stage 1 may submit applications and other relevant documentation to join at any time during the lifetime of the Stage 1 (please see supporting documentation for details).
