Procurement strategy
Our Procurement Strategy identifies the key policies to follow in any procurement exercise. It contains actions to improve, innovate and be consistent in procurement practice.
The Procurement Strategy shows our plan to make sure procurement delivers value for money across all services. It contributes to the achievement of our corporate priorities. The Corporate Management Team and the Cabinet have approved the strategy.
The procurement of goods, works and services has a major impact on many aspects of life in Hampshire. This includes the environment, social factors and local economic development. The procurement policy, practice and improvement targets shows this.
We are leading on the construction work stream on behalf of Improvement and Efficiency South East (IESE). It continues to take part in shared procurement opportunities in all areas of procurement both nationally, regionally and locally.
This Procurement Strategy is an ambitious programme of improvement. It sets high standards for all County Councillors, managers and staff across the County Council.
