Celebrating the Britishness of the food on our menus

British Food Fortnight will be coming to all our catering outlets for two weeks this autumn. The event starts on 22 September and runs until 7 October. This year our campaign focuses on the Britishness of our food and local suppliers.

Across our primary and secondary menus, key ingredients are British. Our primary schools have built their own theme day menus and we have even included items that could be used for a Harvest Festival celebration, which falls during British Food Fortnight. Our secondary schools will feature a sausage and egg wrap on their breakfast menu, using both free range locally farmed eggs and a British pork grill.

We are also celebrating at our business units, community cafes and coffee shops, and at our visitor attraction catering outlets. Featured dishes include soups prepared using British ingredients and locally sourced fruit tartlets.

For further information and updates follow us on Facebook.
