Hampshire BSIP+ Independent Travel Training Grant
Independent travel training aims to increase an individual’s independence, improve their self-esteem and confidence, and expand the opportunities for them to participate in community activities by developing their knowledge, skills, and confidence to travel independently on public transport and navigate their surroundings. This grant stream is intended to help organisations deliver independent travel training to adults that find it difficult to engage with public transport information or lack the skills or confidence to use local bus services due to social isolation, learning differences, mental health or physical disabilities.
