Local Resilience Forum response to Coronavirus (COVID-19)
- LRF response to Coronavirus (COVID-19)
-
Organisations from across the LRF are continuing to work together on the response to Coronavirus (COVID-19), as well as focusing on plans to help the residents, businesses and communities across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight to recover from the wider effects of the pandemic.
Organisations including the local NHS, Hampshire Constabulary, Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service, and local authorities are working together across a wide range of areas including health and care, education, the economy and the environment, as well as considering the financial implications for the public sector.
The plans being developed are supported by a range of data, summaries of which are available here and updated regularly.

- Guidance notes
-
- The content of the PDF files do not represent official positions or recommendations from the Local Resilience Forum Recovery Coordinating Group (RCG) or the organisations represented on it. They are presented to RCG to support decision-making on recovery across HIOW.
- The data in the HIOW summary is derived from a Compendium owned by the Hampshire & Isle of Wight LRF for the purpose of emergency planning and response.
- Covid-19 is a novel virus, much remains to be understood about transmission dynamics and effects on our population, so emerging intelligence is preliminary and subject to change. The data is correct at the time the Compendium weekly update is published.
- Caution is needed with interpreting some of these data e.g. increasing trends may reflect increased testing, changes in recording, coding or reporting; rather than a true increase in incidence.
