TWO TRAFFIC ORDER PROPOSALS – NO WAITING AT ANY TIME AND NO STOPPING ON SCHOOL ENTRANCE MARKINGS IN THE BUDDS LANE / STATION ROAD AREA AT BORDON / WHITEHILL

Due consideration having been given to Sections 122(1) and 122(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Hampshire County Council proposes making a traffic order as follows:

Highways – Permanent Traffic Order Notices from Hampshire County Council in East Hampshire area

EFFECT OF ORDER 1: will impose no stopping on school markings restriction in Budds Lane and no waiting at any time in the various lengths of road as specified in the schedules below:

Schedule I : No Stopping on School Entrance Markings – Monday to Friday 8.00am – 9.30am and 3.00pm – 4.30pm (both days inclusive)

(a) Budds Lane – north-east side

(i) between a point 132 south-east of its junction with Station Road / Oakhanger Road and a point 45 metres south-east of that point.

(ii) between a point 317 metres south-east of its junction with Station Road / Oakhanger Road and a point 45 metres south-east of that point.

(iii) between a point 580 metres south-east of its junction with Station Road / Oakhanger Road and a point 25 metres south-east thereof.

(b) Budds Lane – south-west side : between a point 592 metres south-east of its junction with Station Road / Oakhanger Road and a point 25 metres south-east of that point.

Schedule II : No Waiting at Any Time

(a) Budds Lane – north-east side

(i) between its junction with Station Road / Oakhanger Road and a point 132 metres south-east thereof.

(ii) between a point 177 metres south-east of its junction with Station Road / Oakhanger Road and a point 140 metres south-east of that point.

(iii) between a point 362 metres south-east of its junction with Station Road / Oakhanger Road and a point 218 metres south-east of that point.

(b) Budds Lane – south-west side : between its junction with Oakhanger Road / Station Road and a point 592 metres south-east thereof.

(c) Oakhanger Road – south side : between its junction with Budds Lane and a point 66 metres west thereof

(d) Station Road – south-east side : between its junction with Budds Lane and a point 48 metres north-east thereof.

EFFECT OF ORDER 2: will impose no waiting at any time in the following roads follows

(a) Barbados Road – both sides : between its junction with Station Road and a point 22 metres north thereof.

(b) Ladysmith Place – both sides : between its junction with Station Road and a point 19 metres south thereof.

(c) Loweswater Gardens – both sides : between its junction with Station Road and a point 10 metres south thereof.

(d) Loweswater Gardens – west side : between a point 104 metres south of its junction with Station Road and a point 16 metres south of that point.

(e) Loweswater Gardens – east side : between a point 100 metres south of its junction with Station Road and a point 20 metres south of that point.

(f) Oakley Road – north and east side : between a point 45 metres west of its junction with Beaufort Road and a point 32 metres north-west of that point;

(g) Oakley Road – south and west side : between a point 48 metres west of its junction with Beaufort Road and a point 45 metres north-west of that point.

(h) Sidney Martin Road – west side : between its junction with Station Road and a point 21 metres north thereof.

(i) Sidney Martin Road – east side : between its junction with Station Road and a point 23 metres north thereof.

(j) Station Road – north side : between its junction with Farnham Road/Camp Road and a point 95 metres west of its junction with Sidney Martin Road.

(k). Station Road – south side :

(i) between its junction with Farnham Road / Camp Road and a point 38 metres west of its junction with Windermere Road.

(ii) between a point 73 metres west of its junction with Windermere Road and a point 36 metres west of that point.

(iii) between a point 33 metres east of its junction with Crompton Place and a point 88 metres west of its junction with Ladysmith Place, an approximate distance of 163 metres.

(l) Windermere Road – both sides : between its junction with Station Road and a point 10 metres south thereof.

(iii) Hampshire County Council Headquarters, The Castle, Winchester, SO23 8UJ (Opening hours : Mondays to Thursdays 8.30 – 5.15; Fridays 8.30 – 4.45)

OBJECTIONS: All objections and other representations in respect of this proposal must be sent in writing to the undersigned quoting reference:- A1020/MB by 1 November 2019. All objections must state the grounds on which they are made. Persons wishing to make objections or other representations are advised that in the order-making process, objections or other representations may become publicly available and therefore the names and addresses of those persons making objections or other representations may also be made publicly available.

TITLE: The orders, if made, will be known as:

Order 1 : "The Hampshire (Various Roads, East Hampshire) (Parking Places and Prohibition of Stopping, Waiting, Loading / Unloading and Clearway) Consolidation Order 2012 (Variation No. 15) Order 2019."

Order 2 : "The Hampshire (Various Roads, East Hampshire) (Parking Places and Prohibition of Stopping, Waiting, Loading / Unloading and Clearway) Consolidation Order 2012 (Variation No. 16) Order 2019."
