Highways – Permanent Traffic Order Notices from Eastleigh Borough Council in Eastleigh area

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that The Council of the Borough of Eastleigh (hereinafter referred to as "the Council") pursuant to arrangements made with the Hampshire County Council in exercise of the powers of the said County Council under Sections 1, 2 and 4 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act") and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Act and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act hereby proposes to make the above Order, the effects of which would be to:

Introduce "No waiting at any time" restrictions in the following roads: Avonbourne Way both sides from North Millers Dale south-eastwards for 10 metres; Charlecote Drive, east side from North Millers Dale southwards for 12.5 metres, west side from North Millers Dale southwards for 11 metres; Cranford Gardens, both sides from North Millers Dale eastwards for 10 metres; Hiltingbury Road, both sides from Kingsway south-eastwards for 20 metres; North Millers Dale, west side from 10 metres north to 10 metres south of The Tanyards, west, north & east sides from 15 metres north of The Deanery southwards, westwards and northwards to 55 metres south of Weavers Place (a distance of 288 metres), east side from 50 metres north to 10 metres south of Cranford Gardens, south-east side from 10 metres north to 10 metres south of Avonbourne Way, south-west side from 10 metres south-east to 10 metres south-west of Charlecote Drive; Peverells Wood Avenue north-east side from Winchester Road to the boundary of Nos 1 & 3; Seymour Close, both sides form the boundary of Nos 27 & 28 northwards to its northern closed end; South Millers Dale, both sides from Sutherlands Way north-eastwards for 10 metres, Sutherlands Way north-east side from Wellbrooke Gardens to 15 metres south-east of South Millers Dale; Swanton Gardens, both sides from Wellbrooke Gardens northwards for 10 metres; The Deanery north side from North Millers Dale westwards for 15.5 metres, south side from North Millers Dale westwards for 13.5 metres; The Tanyards both sides from North Millers Dale westwards for 10 metres; Wellbrooke Gardens north-east side from Sutherlands Way northwestwards to the layby outside Nos 46 & 46 and from that layby north-westwards to 1 metre west of the entrance to the car park opposite No 17,

Introduce "No waiting on verges at any time" restrictions in the following roads: Hiltingbury Road both sides from 20 metres south-east of Kingsway to 19 metres north-west of Malibres Road; Oakmount Road both sides from 17 metres south-east of Constantine Avenue to 50 metres north of Oakmount Avenue; Richmond Close

A copy of the Order together with all plans showing the roads to which the Order relates and a statement of the Council's reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at Eastleigh House, Upper Market Street, Eastleigh during normal office hours or on the Council's website: www.eastleigh.gov.uk/TRO.

Objections to these proposals together with the grounds on which they are made must be sent in writing or via the form on the Council's website to the undersigned by 27 December 2019. Letters of support will also be received during this time.
