Hampshire County Council has received an application for planning permission for:

The winning and working of up to 230,000 tonnes of soft sand with phased working and restoration through backfilling with up to 435,000 tonnes of clean inert waste/materials, associated internal access routes, plant and infrastructure

The application is accompanied by an Environmental Statement.

The proposed development affects public right of way

Members of the public may inspect copies of the application, the plans and other documents submitted with the application on the Strategic Planning website at https://planning.hants.gov.uk/ or by making arrangements directly with the Case Officer to view a paper copy of the application.

Members of the public may obtain copies of the environmental statement from SLR Consulting Limited, 3rd Floor, Brew House, Jacob Street, Bristol BS2 0EQ. at a charge of £450 plus postage or electronic copy on CD for £10. The documents can also be downloaded from the Strategic Planning website at the address given above.

Anyone who wishes to make representations about this application should make their comments online at the Strategic Planning website at the address given above or write to Strategic Planning, Economy, Transport & Environment Department, Elizabeth II Court West, The Castle, Winchester, Hampshire, SO23 8UD, by 31 August 2020. Representations must include a name and address to be accepted. Anonymous or confidential representations will not be accepted. The details provided will only be held for the purposes of considering your representation.
