THE CITY OF SOUTHAMPTON (ST DENYS) (ACTIVE TRAVEL ZONE) ROAD HUMP NOTICE 2020
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT SOUTHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL in accordance with Section 90A and 90C of the Highways Act 1980 and the Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999 intends to construct a road hump in the lengths of road described below:

Highways – Permanent Traffic Order Notices from Southampton City Council in Southampton area
All roads at their junction with St Denys Road
1. Adelaide Road - Height (MM) = 25, Length (Metres) = 4.2 - 5.8*
2. Aberdeen Road - Height (MM) = 60, Length (Metres) = 5
3. Stanley Road - Height (MM) = 60, Length (Metres) = 5
4. Kent Road - Height (MM) = 60, Length (Metres) = 5.0 - 6.0*
*Length of road hump varies due to geometry of junction
The proposed road humps are to facilitate a continuous footway across St Denys Road.
A plan showing the road hump positions will be emailed or posted upon request. Further information may be obtained from the Southampton Highways Partnership (Traffic Management) on 023 8079 8064.
Any person wishing to object to the proposals must write to the Highways Legal Team, Southampton City Council, Civic Centre, Southampton SO14 7LY or email: Traffic.Orders.Legal@southampton.gov.uk, quoting the title of this Notice and stating the grounds for objection, within 21 days of the date of this Notice (i.e. by 11th December 2020)
