NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Eastleigh Borough Council, as agent to Hampshire County Council (the Traffic Authority), has made the above mentioned Traffic Regulation Order in exercise of the powers of the said County Council under Sections 1, 2 and 4 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act") and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Act and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act.
The effect of the Order is to:
1) Introduce "No waiting at any time" restrictions in the following road: Chickenhall Lane north-east side from 11 metres south-east of Bishopstoke Road south-eastwards for 13 metres (in place of "No waiting Monday to Friday" restrictions), south-west side from 24 metres south-east of Bishopstoke Road south-eastwards for 50 metres (in place of "Pay & Display" parking place)
2) Introduce "No waiting Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm" restrictions in the following road: Chickenhall Lane north-east side from a point 24 metres south east of the Bishopstoke Road south eastwards for a distance of 423 metres (in place of "No waiting Monday to Friday" restrictions)
The Order will come into operation on 15 March 2021. A copy of the Order may be inspected at my office at Eastleigh House, Upper Market Street, Eastleigh during normal office hours or on the Council's website: www.eastleigh.gov.uk/TRO.
Any persons wishing to question the validity of this Order or any provisions contained in it on the ground that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under that Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from 10 March 2021 apply to the High court for this purpose.
