Hampshire County Council has received an application for planning permission for:

Extraction and processing of building sand together with incidental sand and gravel, ecological mitigation works, new access off the B3081 Verwood Road,

processing plant, conveyor system, weighbridge, site office and welfare facilities, staff parking with progressive restoration to a mosaic of lowland heath, gorse scrub, woodland and pond areas.

The application is accompanied by an Environmental Statement.
