THE HAMPSHIRE (SCHOOL LANE / FARNHAM ROAD, SHEET, PETERSFIELD) (PROHIBITION OF RIGHT AND LEFT TURNS) ORDER 2021
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council made the above-mentioned Order on 21 April 2021, in exercise of its powers and duties under Sections 1, 2, 3 and 4 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act") and of all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act and having discharged its duty under section 122 of the Act.
The general nature and effect of the Order:- will be to prohibit vehicles from making left and right turn manoeuvres at the junction of School Lane and Farnham Road as follows:
(i) No left turn from School Lane into Farnham Road: and
(ii) No right turn from Farnham Road into School Lane
Date of operation:- This Order will come into force on 3rd May.
Further details:- Some of the buildings previously closed during the Coronavirus Pandemic at which the documents relating to these matters could normally be viewed may remain closed and the following arrangements have been made:

Please note for safety reasons paper copies will not be available at the above places.

Application to the High Court:- Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Act or that any of the relevant requirements of the Act or any relevant regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Order may make application for the purpose to the High Court within six weeks of the date of the making of the Order.
