TRAFFIC ORDER PROPOSALS – ON-STREET PAY-AND-DISPLAY PARKING PLACES, MARINE PARADE EAST AND WEST, LEE-ON-THE-SOLENT

This is a Re-posted notice as the previous notice did not include the map schedules. This new notice does include these map schedules for perusal. GENERAL NATURE AND EFFECTS OF THE ORDER : Will be to implement on-street pay-and-display parking places as specified below: On-Street Pay-and-Display Parking Places Monday to Sunday (inclusive) 10am – 6pm (no overnight stay for motor caravans) Marine Parade East : South-West Side (i) between a point opposite a point 60 metres north-west of its junction with Portsmouth Road and a point 170 metres north-west of that point. (ii) between a point opposite a point 108 metres north-west of its junction with Cambridge Road and a point 48 metres north-west of that point. Marine Parade West : South-West Side (i) between a point opposite a point 39 metres north-west of its junction with Milvil Road and a point 148 metres north-west of that point. (ii) between a point opposite a point 12 metres north-west of its junction with Osbourne Road and a point 71 metres north-west of that point. (iii) between a point opposite a point 94 metres north-west of its junction with Osbourne Road and a point 127 metres north-west of that point. Highways – Permanent Traffic Order Notices from Hampshire County Council in Gosport area

TRAFFIC ORDER PROPOSALS – ON-STREET PAY-AND-DISPLAY PARKING PLACES, MARINE PARADE EAST AND WEST, LEE-ON-THE-SOLENT

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council ("the Council") proposes to make the above-mentioned Order, in exercise of its powers and duties under the relevant Sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act), and of all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act and having discharged its duty under section 122 of the Act.

GENERAL NATURE AND EFFECTS OF THE ORDER: Will be to implement on-street pay-and-display parking places as specified below:

On-Street Pay-and-Display Parking Places

Monday to Sunday (inclusive) 10am – 6pm (no overnight stay for motor caravans)

Marine Parade East : South-West Side

(i) between a point opposite a point 60 metres north-west of its junction with Portsmouth Road and a point 170 metres north-west of that point.

(ii) between a point opposite a point 108 metres north-west of its junction with Cambridge Road and a point 48 metres north-west of that point.

Marine Parade West : South-West Side

(i) between a point opposite a point 39 metres north-west of its junction with Milvil Road and a point 148 metres north-west of that point.

(ii) between a point opposite a point 12 metres north-west of its junction with Osbourne Road and a point 71 metres north-west of that point.

(iii) between a point opposite a point 94 metres north-west of its junction with Osbourne Road and a point 127 metres north-west of that point.

(iv) between a point opposite a point 18 metres north-west of its junction with Osbourne Road and a point 41 metres north west of that point

OBJECTIONS AND OTHER REPRESENTATIONS: All objections/other representations in respect of this proposal must be made in writing to The Castle, Winchester, SO23 8UD or email public.notices@hants.gov.uk quoting reference:- A1062/MB, by 22 October 2021. All objections must state the grounds on which they are made. Under the requirements of current access to information legislation, any statement you make to the Council in response to this Notice may be made available to the press and to the public, who would be entitled to take copies of it if they so wished.

TITLE: The order, if made, will be known as "The Hampshire (Marine Parade East and West, Lee-on-the-Solent) (On-Street Pay-and-Display Parking Places) Order 2021."
