TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES, TEMPORARY SPEED RESTRICTIONS, ONE-WAY SUSPENSION, PROHBITION OF HEAVY COMMERCIAL VEHICLES SUSPENSION – VARIOUS ROADS, COUNTYWIDE 2022 (No 4)
The below outlines which roads will be subject to a temporary road closure, a temporary speed limit, a temporary one-way suspension or a prohibition of heavy commercial vehicles at some point over the next 18 months.

Highways - Other Temporary Traffic Restrictions from Hampshire County Council in Fareham New Forest Rushmoor Winchester area
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order in accordance with the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 S.14 because of works on or near the road.
ROADS TO BE CLOSED: those parts of the following roads:
1) Highfield Avenue, Fareham between its junction with Upper Saint Michael's Grove and its junction with Saint Anne's Grove
2) Sweyns Lease, East Boldre, New Forest between its junction with Chapel Lane and its termination
3) Monks Lane, Boldre, New Forest between its junction with Pilley Street and its termination
4) Bridge Street, Winchester between its junction with High Street and its junction with Chesil Street
5) High Street, Winchester between its junction with Bridge Street and its junction with Colebrook Street
6) Newmans Hill, Winchester between its junction with Hospital Road and its junction with Bishopswood Road
7) A325 Farnborough Road, Rushmoor between its junction with Clockhouse Roundabout and its junction with Church Road West
8) A327 Meudon Avenue, Rushmoor between its junction with A325 Farnborough Road and its junction with Sulzers Roundabout
9) A35 High Street, Lyndhurst from its junction with Shrubbs Hill Road to outside 99 the High Street – approx. 100m east of its junction with Gosport Lane
10) B3403 Alexandra Road, Rushmoor between its junction with St Albans Roundabout and its junction with Netley Street
11) Lynchford Road (2nd spur), Rushmoor between its junction with Camp Road and its junction with Peabody Carpark (entry)
TEMPORARY SPEED RESTRICTION – To impose a 40 mph temporary speed restriction on the following road:
Alresford Road, Ovington, Winchester between its junction with Ovington Park Lane and its junction with Ladycroft Roundabout
TEMPORARY SPEED RESTRICTION – To impose a 30 mph temporary speed restriction on the following road:
A27 Kanes Hill/West End Road, Eastleigh between its junction with Kanes Hill/ Charles Watts Way roundabout to Windhover Roundabout
TEMPORARY SPEED RESTRICTION – To impose a 30 mph temporary speed restriction on the following road:
A27 Moorhill Road & Church Hill, West End, Eastleigh between its junction with Kanes Hill roundabout and its junction with B3035 High Street
ONE-WAY SUSPENSION – To suspend the one-way road on the following road:
A35 High Street, Lyndhurst between its junction with Shrubbs Hill and its junction with Gosport Lane and allow traffic to travel east to west.
PROHBITION OF HEAVY COMMERCIAL VEHICLES SUSPENSION – To suspend the prohibition of heavy commercial vehicles on the following road:
A35 High Street, Lyndhurst between its junction with the A337 Romsey Road and its junction with the A35 Gosport Lane

DURATION OF ORDER: from 24th January 2022 for a period of 18 months. (This is the duration of the Order, not the works, which will vary according to technical requirements. Closure times and patterns will be indicated on site prior to and whilst the works are in progress.) Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
