Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Eastleigh Borough Council in Eastleigh area
BOROUGH OF EASTLEIGH
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14.1
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE OF CROWS NEST LANE, BOTLEY
By arrangements made under section 19 of the Local Government Act 2000 with Hampshire County Council, notice is hereby given that Eastleigh Borough Council proposes to make a temporary closure order pursuant to the legislation above as the Council is satisfied that traffic (and/or pedestrians) on the road(s) below should be restricted because works are proposed to be executed on or near the road, the effect of which is detailed below.
Road to be closed:
Crows Nest Lane, Botley
Period of Closure:
Saturday 14 May 2022, 00:01 for a period of 9 days or when the works are completed, whichever is sooner. Notwithstanding, it is expected that the road closure will be in force from Saturday 14 May until Sunday 22 May 2022.
Diversion route:
Via Winchester Road, Oatlands Road & Maddoxford Lane.
Reason for Closure:
Foul water mains works.
