BOROUGH OF EASTLEIGH
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14.1
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE OF DODWELL LANE, BURSLEDON
By arrangements made under section 19 of the Local Government Act 2000 with Hampshire County Council, notice is hereby given that Eastleigh Borough Council proposes to make a temporary closure order pursuant to the legislation above as the Council is satisfied that traffic (and/or pedestrians) on the road(s) below should be restricted because works are proposed to be executed on or near the road, the effect of which is detailed below.
Road to be closed
Dodwell Lane, Bursledon, from the junction after Blundell Lane outside Freehills Lodge to outside D.E.S.S. Ltd (Longuenesse).
Period of Closure
Wednesday 23 November 2022, 00:01 for a period of 1 week or whenever the work is complete, whichever is sooner. Notwithstanding, it is expected the closure will only be in force from Wednesday 23 November until Thursday 24 November 2022.
Diversion route
via Dodwell Lane, A3024, A27 and vice versa.
Reason for Closure:
To allow engineers to work in overground structure.
