On the 17 November 2022 Hampshire County Council confirmed the above Order made under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980. The effect of the Order as confirmed is to divert the public footpath in Fareham from its current alignment commencing at SU 5399 0623 and proceeding southward to the A27 at SU 5396 0616, to a new alignment commencing at SU 5399 0623 proceeding in an easterly direction into the recreation ground, continuing southwards and then south-eastward around the recreation field edge to SU 5410 0612.
