TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES, TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING & PARKING – VARIOUS ROADS, COUNTYWIDE 2022 (No.49)
The following roads will be temporarily closed at some point during the 18 months.

Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Hampshire County Council in Basingstoke and Deane Gosport New Forest Test Valley Winchester area
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order in accordance with the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 S.14 because of works on or near the road.
ROADS TO BE CLOSED: those parts of the following roads:
1) Cadnam Common Road, Bramshaw, New Forest between its junction with A31 Romsey Road and its junction with a point just south of Furzley Road/Newbridge Road
2) Burley Road, Bransgore, New Forest between its junction with Forest Road and its junction with Wilverley Road
3) Rooksbury Road, Andover, Test Valley between its junction with a point outside no 57 and its termination
4) Hatchet Lane Beaulieu, New Forest between its junction with Hatchet Lane B3054 at both points on the triangle section
5) Dauntsey Drove, Fyfield, Test Valley between its junction with Fyfield Road and its junction with Fyfield Lane
6) Mead End Road, Denmead, Winchester between its junction with Hambledon Road and its junction with Little Mead
7) Station Hill, Winchester between its junction with Sussex Street/Stockbridge Road and its junction with a point approximately 40 metres north west
8) Norn Hill, Basingstoke between its junction with Freemantle Close and its junction with Reading Road Roundabout
9) Alencon Link, Basingstoke between its junction with the entrance to Festival Place Car Park and its junction with Braine-L'Alleud Road
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING & PARKING – To impose a temporary suspension on the following road:
Thorngate Way, Gosport between its junction with South Cross Street and its junction with South Street will be suspended for the duration of the works.
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING & PARKING – To impose a temporary suspension on the following road:
South Street (southbound carriageway), Gosport between its junction with Mumby Road/ High Street pedestrian crossing and its junction with south of The Esplanade
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING & PARKING – To impose a temporary suspension on the following road:
Mumby Road (northbound carriageway), Gosport between its junction with junction with High Street approximately 15m north of the pedestrian crossing and its junction with a distance approximately 20m north of the junction with High Street, approximately 15m north of the pedestrian crossing
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING & PARKING – To impose a temporary suspension on the following road:
Mumby Road (southbound carriageway), Gosport between its junction with access into Falkland Gardens short-stay car park/ taxi rank/ passenger set-down facility and its junction with Mumby Road pedestrian crossing
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING & PARKING– To impose a temporary suspension on the following road:
South Street, Gosport between its junction with parking bays on northern side of South Street, to the east of the junction with South Cross Street and its junction with distance of approximately 12m along the existing parking bay area

1) Newbridge Village, Furzley Road, Furzley Common Road, Brook Hill, Lyndhurst Road, Canterton Lane, Wittensford Lane, Southampton Road, M27 Junction 1 To Junction 2 On Slip, Romsey Road
2) Road From Holmsley Station To Burley, Station Road, Road From Wootton Bridge To Old Station Holmsley, Bournemouth Road, Lyndhurst Road, Forest Road

DURATION OF ORDER: from 5th December 2022 for a period of 18 months. (This is the duration of the Order, not the works, which will vary according to technical requirements. Closure times and patterns will be indicated on site prior to and whilst the works are in progress.) Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
