Annual Referendum Notice from Hampshire County Council in Basingstoke and Deane East Hampshire Eastleigh Fareham Gosport Hart Havant New Forest Portsmouth Rushmoor Southampton Test Valley Winchester area
In accordance with Regulation 5 of this legislation, each of the authorities in the attached document has published a verification notice of 5% of the number of local government electors for its respective council area in the register having effect on the 15 February 2023.
The verification numbers set out in the attached document will have effect for the purposes of determining the validity of petitions seeking the holding of a referendum on the question of whether the authority should change its governance arrangements.
