THE HAMPSHIRE (B2149 PARK ROAD SOUTH, HAVANT)

(RESTRICTED ROAD, 30, AND 40 MILES PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2022

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council made the above-mentioned Order on Monday 18^th September 2023, in exercise of its powers and duties under Sections 1,2,3,4,5 122(1) and 122(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”), Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Act, and of all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act, and having discharged its duty under section 122 of the Act.

 General nature and effects of the Order: Will be vary the existing lengths of road on B2149 Park Road South at Havant as follows:

 (i)        B2149, Park Road South / Park Road North / Petersfield Road, northbound between a point in Park Road South, 88 metres north of its roundabout junction with A27 I A3023 Langstone Road and a point in Petersfield Road, 105 metres north of its roundabout junction with B2149 / Elmleigh Road, an approximate distance of 984 metres.

 (ii)       B2149, Park Road South / Park Road North / Petersfield Road, southbound from a point in Petersfield Road, 105 metres north of its roundabout junction with B2149 / Elmleigh Road, southwards to its roundabout junction with A27 I A3023 Langstone Road, an approximate distance of 1070 metres.

 This Order will revoke and re-enact The Hampshire (B2149, Havant) (Restricted Road and 40 Miles Per Hour Speed Limit) Order 2010 in its entirety save for the changes made above

 DATE OF OPERATION:    The order will come into force on Monday 18^th September 2023.
