NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order (Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 S.14) to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Bramley Road/ Sherfield Road between its junction with Reading Road and a point approximately 990 Metres North-West.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: The Street, Silchester Road, Boars Bridge, Bramley Road, A340, A339, A33, Reading Road

DURATION OF ORDER: from 13^th November 2023 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner.  (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 66 days with a full closure in place 24 hours a day. It is expected that no works will be taking place for the Christmas Embargo between 18^th December 2023 to 3^rd January 2024).

This second notice for Bramley Road/ Sherfield Road has been amended from the original first and second notice which appeared the weeks commencing 30th October 2023 and 13^th November 2023, to advertise changes to the diversion route.

Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
