Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Hampshire County Council in East Hampshire area
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order (Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 S.14) to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Churt Road between its junction with Hammer Lane and its junction with Bacon Lane.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Churt Road, Glayshers Hill, Grayshott Road, Headley Road, Portsmouth Road, Tilford Road, Churt Road, Barford Road
DURATION OF ORDER: from 27th February 2024 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 4 days between the hours 09:00 – 16:00).
Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
