Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Hampshire County Council in Basingstoke and Deane area
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order (Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 S.14) to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Cufaude Lane between its junction with Amport Road and a point approximately 90 Metres West, with access only between its junction with The Street and its junction with Rockbourne Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: The Street, Sherfield Road, Bramley Road, A33, Gaiger Avenue, Rockbourne Road
DURATION OF ORDER: from 18th March 2024 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 night between the hours 21:30 – 05:00).
Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
