Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Hampshire County Council in New Forest area
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order (Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 S.14) to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Whipps Hill between its junction with Green Lane and a point approximately 700 Metres West.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Brickhill Road, Road through Rockbourne, Road from Rockbourne towards Whitsbury, Rockbourne Road, Fordingbridge Road
DURATION OF ORDER: from 25th March 2024 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 9 days, with the closure in place 24 hours per day).
Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
