NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that Hampshire County Council, because of works on or near the road, considers that the closure to the road mentioned below should come into force without delay. 

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Titchfield Lane between its junction with Biddenfield Lane and its junction with the entrance to the National Grid Botley Wood site.  

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Fontley Road, Mill Lane, A27, A32, A334. 

DURATION OF THIS NOTICE: from 17^th April 2024 for a maximum period of 5 days or until completion of the works whichever is sooner (Notwithstanding the above, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day). 

The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Openreach to carry out urgent overhead cabling works. 

Openreach will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
