Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Hampshire County Council in Fareham area
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
LEFT-HAND TURN TO BE PROHIBITED: that part of Old Turnpike, heading left onto Park Lane (approximately 5 Metres before the 4-way traffic lights) is to be prohibited.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: North Hill, A32
DURATION OF ORDER: from 12th June 2024 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 3 days, working between the hours 19:00 – 23:00).
The prohibition of a Left-Hand turn has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Openreach to carry out desilting works. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: [email protected]
Openreach will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
