NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under Section 14(1)(a) and (b) and (3) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) and of all other enabling powers to allow the Farnborough International Airshow 2024 to take place on the dates 10^th June 2024- 1^st  August 2024.

 

Waiting prohibited at any time from (10th June 2024 to 26th July 2024)  

 

1. Aldershot Road – Both Sides From its junction with Fleet Road in a south westerly direction for 500 metres.

2.     Clubhouse Road – Both Sides From its junction with Fleet Road to its junction with the A325 Farnborough Road.

3.     Elles Road – Both Sides From its junction with Sulzers Roundabout in a westerly direction to its junction with Ively Road.

4. Fleet Road – Both Sides From its junction with Ively Road in a south easterly direction to its junction with the A325 Farnborough Road, Aldershot.

 

5. Ively Road – Both Sides From its junction with Elles Road in a westerly direction to its junction with Kennels Lane/ From its junction with Elles Road in a northerly direction to its junction with Southwood Road (Southwood Roundabout)

 

6. Laffans Road – Both Sides For its entire length.

 

Waiting prohibited at any time from (15th July 2024 to 26^th July 2024):

1.     A325 Farnborough Road – West Side From its junction with Rae Road in a southerly direction to a point 35 metres south of its junction with Aircraft Esplanade.

2.     Rae Road – Both Sides For its entire length.

 

Waiting prohibited at any time from Monday 22^nd July to Friday 26th July 2024 ):

 

1.     Aldershot Road – Both sides for its entire length.

2.     Alexandra Road – East Side From a point 15 metres south of its junction with Wetherby Gardens in a northerly direction to a point 15 metres south of its junction with Cross Street.

3.     Arrow Road – Both Sides From its junction with Elles Road in a northerly direction to its junction with Marrowbrook Lane.

4.     Bourley Road, Fleet - Both Sides- From Beacon Hill Road (B3013) in a south easterly direction to Bourley Lane junction.

 

5.     Brook Gardens – Both Sides For its entire length.

 

6.     Church Road West – Both Sides From its junction with Farnborough Road in an easterly direction to its junction with Alexandra Road.

 

7.     Cody Road – Both Sides For its entire length.

 

8.     Cross Street – Both Sides from a point 15 metres west of its junction with Osborne Road in a westerly direction for its entire length.

 

 

9.     Farnborough Road, Aldershot -Both sides from its junction with Cranmore Lane in a northerly direction to the Aldershot/Farnborough boundary.

 

10.  Farnborough Road, Farnborough- East Side-From a point 46 metres south of the southern boundary of No. 242 Farnborough Road in a southerly direction to a point 18 metres north of the southern boundary of No. 216 Farnborough Road.

 

 

11.  West Side-From a point 35 metres south of its junction with Aircraft Esplanade in a southerly direction to its junction with Cross Street.

 

12.  East Side-From its junction with Aircraft Esplanade in a southerly direction to the boundary of Nos. 44/46 Farnborough Road.

 

13.  Both Sides-From the Aldershot/Farnborough Boundary in a northerly direction to its junction with Lynchford Road.

 

14.  Forge Lane – Both Sides From its junction with Farnborough Road in a westerly direction to its junction with Shoe Lane

 

15.  Government House Road – Both Sides for its entire length.

19.  South Side-From its junction with Southampton Street in an easterly direction to the east side of its junction with Winchester Street.

 

20.  Meudon Avenue – Both Sides From its junction with Sulzers roundabout to its junction with the A325 Pinehurst Roundabout.

 

21.  Netley Street – Both Sides From its junction with Farnborough Road in an easterly direction to its junction with Southampton Street. /From its junction with Alexandra Road in a westerly direction to and including its junction with Winchester Street.

22.  Osborne Road – Both Sides From a point 15 metres north of its junction with Cross Street in a northerly direction to its junction with Guildford Road West.

 

23.  Park Road – Both Sides From its junction with Lynchford Road in a northerly direction to its junction with Old Lynchford Road.

 

 

24.  Queens Road, Farnborough – Both Sides From a point 15 metres west of its junction with Park Road in a westerly direction for 15 metres.

 

25.  Queens Gate Road – Both sides from its junction with Government House Road to a point 50 metres north of its junction with ETPS Road.

 

26.  Reading Road – Both Sides From a point 15 metres west of its junction with Rivers Close in a westerly direction to its junction with Canterbury Road.

 

27.  Shoe Lane – Both Sides From its junction with Forge Lane in a northerly direction to its junction with Government House Road.

 

28.  Southampton Street- From its junction with Farnborough Road to the southern boundary of No. 59 Southampton Street.

 

29.  Winchester Street – Both Sides From its junction with Netley Street in a southerly direction for 15 metres.

 

30.  A325 Farnborough Road, Farnborough- Both Sides from its junction with Lynchford Road and its junction with A27.

 

 

Waiting prohibited at any time between (7.00hrs and 14.00hrs and 15.00hrs and 20.00hrs from 20^th to 26th July 2024):

 

Farnborough Road – East Side, From a point 17.5 metres south of the southern boundary of No. 242 Farnborough Road in a southerly direction to a point 18 metres north of the southern boundary of No.216 Farnborough Road. This restrict is to be suspended between the hours of 7.00hrs and 14.00hrs and 15.00hrs and 20.00hrs from 20^th to 26th July 2024.

 

 

Waiting prohibited at any time (except for buses) from 22^nd to 26th July 2024

 

1.     Station Road, Farnborough – East Side From its junction with Union Street in a southerly direction for 50 metres.

 

 

TEMPORARY SPEED RESTRICTION – To impose a 30-mph temporary speed restriction on the following road (Monday 15^th July 2024- Friday 26^th July 2024):

 

1. Bourley Road, between its junction with Beacon Hill Road and its junction with Wellesley Road.

 

 

TEMPORARY SPEED RESTRICTION – To impose a 40-mph temporary speed restriction on the following road (Saturday 15^th June 2024- Thursday 1^st August 2024)

 

1.     A325 Farnborough Road, between its junction with Lynchford Road and its junction with Wellington roundabout, including the slip roads thereon, in any direction. 

 

2.     A323 Fleet Road, between its junction with A325 Farnborough Road and its junction with Ively Road (Norris Hill roundabout), in any direction. 

 

3. Clubhouse Road, between its junction with the A323 Fleet Road and its junction with the A325 on-slip, in any direction.

 

4. Aldershot Road, between its junction with the A325 Farnborough Road to a point 500 metres in a south-easterly direction.

 

 

 

SUSPENSION OF LEFT TURNS- To Suspend left hand turns on the following roads (Sunday July 21^st 2024 to Friday 26^th July 2024 12:00-22:00):

1.       Lynchford Road (Old section, eastern end) to turn left into Park Road.

2.      Falkland Court to turn left into Park Road.

SUSPENSION OF RIGHT TURNS- To suspend right hand turns on the following roads Monday 17^th June 2024- Sunday 4^th August 07:00-14:00):

1.     A325 Farnborough Road, Farnborough between its junction with Boundary Road to its junction with Lynchford Road (Queens Roundabout) to turn right onto any road or premises adjoining the A325 Farnborough Road.

 

2.     A325 Farnborough Road, Farnborough between its junction with Boundary Road and its junction with Lynchford Road (Queens Roundabout) to turn right onto the A325 Farnborough Road.

 

3.     Alexandra Road to turn right into Netley Street.

 

4.      Netley Street to turn right on to Alexandra Road.

 

5.     Alexandra Road to turn right into Queens Road.

 

6. Queens Road to turn right on to Alexandra Road.

 

7. Queen’s Gate Road to turn right into Government House Road.

 

8 A323 Fleet Road to turn right into Laffans Road.

 

9.Laffans Road to turn right on the A323 Fleet Road.

 

10. Salesian View to turn right into Park Road.

 

11.South Street to turn right into Park Road.

 

12. Whites Road to turn right into Park Road.

 

SUSPENSION OF NO RIGHT TURNS- To impose right hand turns on the following roads. Monday 22^nd July 2024- Friday 26^th July 2024.

1.     Lynchford Road to allow right turns into Morris Road.

ROADS TO BE SUBJECT TO CLOSURE: To Prevent any person or vehicles from proceeding in the following roads.

1.     A325 Farnborough Road, in any direction, between its junction with Church Road West and its junction with Lynchford Road (Queens roundabout). On Thursday 1^st August 2024 between 19:00hrs and 00:00hrs.

 

2.     A323 Fleet Road, between its junction with Ively Road (Norris Hill roundabout) and its junction with Laffans Road, From Monday 15th July to Friday 26th July 2024 between 12.00pm and 5.00pm.

 

3.     Aldershot Road between its junction with A323 Fleet Road and the eastern boundary of The Foresters public house, From Monday 15^th July 2024- Friday 26^th July 2024 between 12.00pm and 5.00pm.

 

4.     Rae Road between its junction with A325 Farnborough Roadand Trenchard Way, From Monday 22nd July to Friday 26th July 2024, (except FIL approved passes)

 

5.     A327, Elles Road, Ively Road and Summit Avenue shall be suspended in part between the Southwood Road Roundabout (Summit Avenue) in a southerly and an easterly direction to the junction of Elles Road and Solartron Road and a westerly direction to the boundary of the Borough of Rushmoor.

DURATION OF ORDER: from 17^th June 2024 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the event whichever is sooner.  (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 month and 2 weeks, The hours of the restriction are scheduled above per restriction.
