PROPOSAL TO INCREASE RESOURCED PROVISION PLACES FOR PUPILS WITH SOCIAL EMOTIONAL AND MENTAL HEALTH (SEMH) FROM 5 TO 8 AT PENNINGTON CHURCH OF ENGLAND JUNIOR SCHOOL, LYMINGTON FROM SEPTEMBER 2024
Pennington Church of England Junior School, Priestlands Road, Lymington, SO41 8HX has an established resourced provision for Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. It is proposed to increase the SEMH resourced provision by 3 places from 5 to 8 from September 2024.

1. Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Section 19(1) of the Education and Inspections Act 2006, that Hampshire County Council intends to make a prescribed alteration to PENNINGTON CHURCH OF ENGLAND JUNIOR SCHOOL, Priestlands Road, Lymington SO41 8HX (category of school – Voluntary Controlled School) with effect from September 2024.
2. Pennington Church of England Junior School has an established resourced provision for Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. It is proposed to increase the SEMH resourced provision by three places from 5 to 8 from September 2024.
3. The current capacity of Pennington Church of England Junior School is for 120 places. The proposal is to increase the resourced provision for Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) from 5 to 8 places. This change will not affect the overall capacity of mainstream places at Pennington Church of England Junior School.
4. There is no capital cost to this proposed change.
