The following roads will be temporarily closed sometime during the next 6 months, with an approximate start date of 29th July 2024.

Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Hampshire County Council in East Hampshire area
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROADS TO BE CLOSED:
- that part of Redhill Road between its junction with College Close and its junction with The Drift.
- that part of Castle Road between its junction with Redhill Road and its junction with Links Close.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: The Green, Bowes Hill, Woodhouse Lane, Treadwheel Road, Rowlands Castle Road, B2149.
DURATION OF ORDER: from 29th July 2024 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 3 days, working between the hours 09:30-15:30).
The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Openreach to carry out underground cabling works. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order, please contact: [email protected]
Openreach will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
