Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Hampshire County Council in Test Valley area
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that Hampshire County Council, because of an urgent incident on or near the road, considers that the closure to the road mentioned below should come into force without delay.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Drove Road between its junction with Branksome Avenue and its junction with Coley Lane.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Branksome Avenue, Station Road, Coley Lane.
DURATION OF THIS NOTICE: from 18th July 2024 for a maximum period of 5 days or until completion of the emergency restriction, whichever is sooner (Notwithstanding the above, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day and in operation between 08:30-18:00).
The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for GM Networks Ltd to carry out urgent telegraph pole replacement.
GM Networks Ltd will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
