Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Hampshire County Council in Basingstoke and Deane area
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that Hampshire County Council, because of an urgent incident on or near the road, considers that the closure to the road mentioned below should come into force without delay.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Deane Cottages Lane between its junction with Manor Farm Lane and its junction with B3400 Andover Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Manor Farm Lane, B3400.
DURATION OF THIS NOTICE: from 18th July 2024 for a maximum period of 5 days or until completion of the emergency restriction, whichever is sooner (Notwithstanding the above, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day working between 08:30-18:00).
The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for GM Networks Ltd to carry out urgent telegraph pole replacement.
GM Networks Ltd will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
