NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that Hampshire County Council, because of an urgent incident on or near the road, considers that the closure to the road mentioned below should come into force without delay. 

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Cott Street between its junction with Droxford Road and its junction with A32 Wickham Road.  

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Droxford Road, Swanmore Road, Midlington Hill, A32.  

DURATION OF THIS NOTICE: from 24^th July 2024 for a maximum period of 5 days or until completion of the emergency restriction, whichever is sooner (Notwithstanding the above, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day). 

The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Kier Utilities to carry out emergency pole replacement. 

Kier Utilities will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
