Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Hampshire County Council in Winchester area
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that Hampshire County Council, because of an urgent incident on or near the road, considers that the closure to the road mentioned below should come into force without delay.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of B3420 Andover Road North between its junction with Harestock Road for a distance of approx. 30m north of that junction.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Harestock Road, B3049, Stoney Lane.
DURATION OF THIS NOTICE: from 31st July 2024 for a maximum period of 5 days or until completion of the emergency restriction, whichever is sooner (Notwithstanding the above, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day, and in operation for 24 hours a day).
The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Traffic Control 123 Ltd to carry out emergency frame and cover repair.
Traffic Control 123 Ltd will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
