Highways - Other Temporary Traffic Restrictions from Hampshire County Council in Havant area
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD SUBJECT TO WEIGHT LIMIT SUSPENSION: Emsworth Road & Southleigh Road, Havant, Hampshire. The Hampshire (Various Roads, Havant) (Prohibition of Commercial Vehicles over 3 Tons) Order 1979 is hereby suspended for the duration of the works being carried out by National Highways.
DURATION OF ORDER: from 1st August 2024 for a period of 18 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner.
The temporary weight limit suspension has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate the required diversion route for vegetation works being carried out by National Highways on Southleigh Road & Horndean Road.
National Highways will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
