Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Hampshire County Council in New Forest area
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that Hampshire County Council, because of an urgent incident on or near the road, considers that the closure to the road mentioned below should come into force without delay.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Rollestone Road (Spur) between its junction with Rollestone Road and its junction with Hobson Way.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Rollestone Road, Hobson Way
DURATION OF THIS NOTICE: from 6th August 2024 for a maximum period of 5 days or until completion of the Emergency Restriction whichever is sooner (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day and in operation for 24 hours a day).
The Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Openreach to access an overhead network to restore service.
