The following road will be temporarily closed sometime during the next 6 months, with an approximate start date of 29th August 2024.

Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Hampshire County Council in Winchester area
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROADS TO BE CLOSED:
- that part of Kiln Hill between its junction with Liberty Road and its junction with Dradfield Lane.
- that part of Church Road between its junction with Dradfield Lane and its junction with Ingoldfield Lane.
- that part of Dradfield Lane between its junction with Church Road and its junction with Ingoldfield Lane.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Lodge Hill, Hundred Acres Road, B2177, A32, Heath Road, Forester Road.
DURATION OF ORDER: from 29th August 2024 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day, working between the hours 09:30-15:30).
The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Openreach to carry out pole testing. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order, please contact: [email protected]
Openreach will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
