Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Hampshire County Council in Fareham area
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Knowle Road between its junction with A32 Wickham Road and its junction with Knowle Avenue.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: N/A
DURATION OF ORDER: from 1st September 2024 for a period of 12 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 4 nights at a time, working between the hours 20:00 – 06:00. It is expected that the first set of closures will take place from 4th October 2024 and the second set of closures to take place from 6th December 2024. These dates may vary depending on the progression of the project. Advanced warning signs and notification to residents will be provided in due course).
The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Blanchard Wells Ltd to carry out surfacing and line marking of new S278 roundabout. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: [email protected]
Blanchard Wells Ltd will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
